Girlan Flora Sauvignon Blanc

On the nose, this wine unfolds enticing aromas of tropical fruits such as passion fruit, gooseberry, and grapefruit. This aromatic palette is accompanied by subtle grassy and herbal notes, which lend the bouquet a pleasing complexity. On the palate, the Flora Sauvignon is refreshing and lively. It impresses with an invigorating acidity and pronounced freshness. The fruity aromas of exotic fruits are underscored by a light mineral note, which gives the wine an appealing depth. The Flora Sauvignon is an ideal accompaniment to light dishes such as salads, seafood, and poultry. It is also excellent as an aperitif or as a refreshing treat on warm days. Girlan Winery

What began with 23 courageous winegrowers in a historic 16th-century farmhouse is today one of South Tyrol's most prestigious wineries. Two hundred winegrowing families passionately cultivate 230 hectares of prime vineyards between the Überetsch and Unterland regions – on mineral-rich moraine soils at altitudes of 400 to 550 meters. Cellar master Gerhard Kofler maintains close contact with each winegrower, the foundation for uncompromising quality. As early as 1950, they pioneered the introduction of quality-based payment – revolutionary at the time! Behind these time-honored walls lies state-of-the-art cellar technology. From elegant white wines to powerful reds, South Tyrolean wines are produced here, ranking among the best of their kind internationally.
