Product description

A red wine from Roussillon, hand-rolled pasta from Tuscany, and a pesto from Liguria: this gift set brings four products together in an anthracite-colored box, namely a bottle of wine, a gift box, pici, and pesto. The common thread is an evening at the table that comes together without much effort.

Domaine Lafage Deux Parcelles IGP Côtes Catalanes – Domaine Lafage (France, Roussillon)
The wine was created in the spring of 2026 together with Jean-Marc Lafage and comes from two parcels: old Grenache vines on gneiss and granite. In the glass, you will find dark berries and spice, with a salty finish at the end. Rich fruit meets mineral tension here, and that makes the wine the centerpiece of the set.

Pici – Viani (Italy, Tuscany)
Pici are thick, hand-rolled spaghetti made from durum wheat semolina, without egg and without a machine. Their rough, irregular surface absorbs sauces particularly well. Classically, they belong with Pici all'aglione, with slowly stewed garlic in chunky tomato sauce, or with ragouts of rabbit, hare, and game. In the pot, they need about 10 to 12 minutes.

Pesto with Genovese Basil DOP – Viani (Italy, Liguria)
The pesto is made in the Genovese style with Basil DOP, deliberately chunky and with garlic in the recipe. It shows a vibrant green color and smells of fresh herbs. You can combine it with trofie or trenette, spread it on bruschetta, or add it to grilled vegetables.

The black gift box holds two 0.75 l bottles. It is lined with black Sizzle Pak, which safely cushions the goods, and is sealed with a decorative sticker and ribbon. The set is therefore immediately ready for gifting.

Pairs well with: Pici with a hearty ragout of rabbit or game, Pici all'aglione with chunky tomato sauce, trofie with pesto, and bruschetta on the side. The red wine with its spice and salty finish pairs particularly well with the ragout dishes.

Four components, one box: The set is suitable as a birthday gift, as a host gift, or for Christmas. It is also a good occasion for a pasta evening for two, where you can taste your way through France and Italy.
