finch FineSelection Classic
A mild Swabian whisky with a clear wine character: The finch FineSelection Classic from the Swabian Highlands matures for five years in selected wine barrels – a maturation process that gives the distillate its characteristic fruit and tannin structure.
The Finch Whisky Distillery is one of the best-known German distilleries and consistently focuses on regional character: Swabian grain, local water, and the cask maturation in wine casks typical for Finch, which deliberately distinguishes the line from classic Scotch styles.
In the glass, the Classic reveals aromas of ripe forest fruits and a soft vanilla note in the background – a result of its long aging in oak barrels. The body is light, the tannins subtle, and the finish mild and short with a touch of fruity sweetness.
- Neat: at room temperature to fully appreciate the wine barrel notes
- On the rocks: unlocks the fruit aromas, makes the Classic an uncomplicated evening companion.
- Occasion: An introduction to the world of German whisky or as an uncomplicated digestif after a meal
Finch Whisky Distillery – that's Swabian craftsmanship at almost 800 meters altitude. High up on the Swabian Alb, in Heroldstatt, a whisky is produced that doesn't deny its origins: crystal-clear water, grain grown on their own land, and the purest air of the Alb.
What makes Finch special: The entire process – from the vineyard to the glass – remains in one hand. With over 5,000 casks in storage and a 3,000-liter pot still, Finch possesses the largest stock of long-aged whiskies in all of Germany. The World Whiskies Awards in London have repeatedly confirmed this.
Whether smoky, grain-forward or with exciting cask finishes – here you will discover German whisky at an international level.
