Felsina Maestro Raro

Felsina Maestro Raro
A Sangiovese from the heart of Chianti Classico – dense, spicy, with the characteristic acidity that makes this location so distinctive.
Fèlsina is located in Castelnuovo Berardenga, at the southernmost tip of the Chianti Classico region. For decades, the winery has been considered one of Tuscany's most reliable producers – known for wines that combine power and finesse without becoming heavy. The Maestro Raro is an expression of this philosophy: single-varietal, vinified by hand, and aged in oak barrels.
In the glass, it displays dark blackberry and sour cherry, underpinned by tobacco, dry leather, and a hint of black tea. The body is medium to full-bodied, the tannins firm but not harsh – typical of Sangiovese from good vineyards. The finish is long, slightly spicy, with a lively acidity that keeps the wine interesting at the table.
