Elodie Chenin Blanc

Chenin Blanc is South Africa's most distinctive white grape variety — and the Western Cape is one of the world's most exciting growing regions for it. The Atlantic influence, cool nights, and well-structured soils between the coast and the mountains create conditions in which Chenin Blanc can display its full range: from crisp and mineral to complex and profound.

The Elodie Chenin Blanc presents itself as dry and clearly structured. On the nose, it opens with aromas of yellow apple, quince, and fresh pear, along with a hint of ginger and white blossoms. On the palate, it displays a lively, well-integrated acidity that lends the wine drive and length without being harsh. The finish is mineral with a slightly saline note—typical of well-situated vineyards in the Western Cape, where the sea air keeps the fruit in balance.

Served at 10–12 °C, it best unfolds its aromatic profile. In the kitchen, it pairs wonderfully with pan-fried cod or sea bass with herb butter, chicken in a lemon and white wine sauce, or fresh goat cheese with honey. It's also a great choice as an aperitif—easy to drink, yet with enough depth to keep you lingering. Drinking window: now until 2027.
