Domaine de Pellehaut Harmonie de Gascogne Rouge

Domaine de Pellehaut Harmonie de Gascogne Rouge
An uncomplicated red wine from the heart of Gascony — strong in character, but with the lightness that characterizes southwest French country wines.
For over 300 years, the Béraut family has cultivated their vineyard in Montréal-du-Gers. Today, brothers Martin and Mathieu Béraut run Domaine de Pellehaut —one of the most renowned estates in the IGP Côtes de Gascogne. On sandy and calcareous soils, classic Southwest grape varieties such as Tannat, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc ripen into a down-to-earth red wine that gets straight to the point.
In the glass, the Harmonie de Gascogne Rouge displays dark blackberry and plum, along with a hint of clove and leather. The palate is medium-bodied, the tannins firm but not harsh, the finish short and fresh with a pleasant spiciness.
