Domaine d'Aussières Blason d'Aussières

The Blason d'Aussières is the second wine of the eponymous estate in Corbières – and clearly bears the signature of its more famous sibling in the glass. Domaine d'Aussières has been part of the Rothschild family of Château Lafite since 1999, who have systematically revitalized the run-down estate in the Languedoc appellation of Corbières: with Bordeaux-style precision, but distinctly southern French character.

In the glass, it displays a deep, dark ruby red. The nose offers ripe blackberry, lavender, and dried garrigue herbs, along with a hint of black cherry and subtle wood spice. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with well-integrated tannins, a lively structure, and a spicy, lingering finish with a light peppery note.

Pairs well with lamb ragout with rosemary, grilled entrecôte, or a strong southern goat cheese. Serving temperature 16–18 °C , ready to drink now, but will easily keep until 2027.

Domaine d'Aussières

Domaine d'Aussières lies in the heart of the Languedoc – a region long overshadowed by the major wine-growing areas, but now one of France's most exciting. Behind it is none other than the House of Lafite Rothschild, which manages this estate with the same keen sense of quality and origin that has made it world-renowned. No prestige here, just genuine craftsmanship: the vineyards around Narbonne yield wines that exude aromas of sun-drenched garrigue, ripe dark fruits, and a hint of wild herbs. The result is red wines that embody the character of the South – powerful yet elegant. Wines that demonstrate that the Languedoc has more to offer than many realize.
