Chateau Fontenelles is located in the center of the picturesque Périgord region, a large plateau in the southwest not far from Thénac. The secret of the finesse and the lush fruit of the Les Fontenelles Blanc Sec lies in the vinification, namely the "élevage sur lie", the aging "on the lees" in the barrel for a few months longer than usual, as has also been successfully practiced for ages in the "Muscadet sur Lie" from the Loire. The wine retains its original taste, so it remains very fresh and fruity for a very long time.
