Château Lagrange Pomerol

Color: Deep ruby ​​to purplish red. Aroma: Fragrant bouquet of cherries, plums, and wild berries with delicate hints of spice, chocolate, and cedar. On the palate, Lagrange is juicy and full-bodied with elegant berry flavors, supple tannins, and a subtle touch of dark chocolate. Harmoniously rounded and balanced with a beautiful, aromatic finish. Château Lagrange is traditionally made predominantly from Merlot with only a small percentage of Cabernet Franc. All grapes are hand-harvested, fermented in cement vats, and the wine is aged for approximately 18 to 22 months in French oak barrels.

Château Lagrange lies in the heart of Saint-Julien – one of Bordeaux's most captivating appellations. Here, on the left bank of the Gironde, between Margaux and Pauillac, grapes thrive in ancient gravelly soil that retains heat, providing the vines with precisely the stress they require. Since the famous classification of 1855 under Napoleon III, Lagrange has been listed as a 3ème Grand Cru Classé – and the vineyards remain the same today. This is no small feat; it is a commitment to the land. Forests, parks, and a lake surround the château – a verdant world that lends the estate its unique rhythm. What you find in the glass reflects this perfectly: depth, elegance, and a tranquility rarely encountered.
