Château Gazin 2022 is a robust yet refined Pomerol that balances power and finesse. It is a wine with clear aging potential, but thanks to its rounded texture and open aromas, it is also relatively approachable in its youth. A compelling and defined wine that fully lives up to its place on the Pomerol plateau. On the palate, Château Gazin 2022 is full-bodied and structured, with a rich texture and a core of concentrated fruit. The tannins are firm but ripe and beautifully integrated. The wine retains a striking freshness and a certain tension that keeps it elegant despite its powerful structure. The finish is long and balanced, with a mineral note and a lingering sense of depth.

Château Gazin

Pomerol with a history. Owned by the Bailliencourt family for decades, it is one of the appellation's top wineries. Deep color intensity, ripe fruit, fine tannins, elegant finesse – that's Gazin. Dark fruits like plum and blackcurrant, spicy notes, gentle oak aging, velvety texture. Low yields, hand-harvested, precise vinification. The name recalls the Knights of St. John, who welcomed pilgrims here. The second growing area is called Hospitalet de Gazin. Pomerol as it should be – powerful, elegant, with depth.
