Château de Jau

A place where art and wine have formed a unique union for decades – that is Château de Jau in the heart of Roussillon. Founded by monks as early as the 12th century, the estate lies in a Mediterranean landscape.

The Dauré family has run the winery since 1973. Their trademark is the fusion of modern art with winemaking. Syrah, Grenache, and Carignan grapes grow on 100 hectares of diverse soils.

The grill restaurant is also famous: grilled lamb and sausages over grapevines, served with bread, tomato, and oil. A taste of carefree southern French lifestyle.
