Chamirey Mercurey "En Pierrelet" Chateau de Chamirey Devillard

A Chardonnay from the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise – mineral-driven, with ripe fruit and the typical Burgundy structure that makes Mercurey white wines so distinctive.

Château de Chamirey belongs to the Devillard family, who have been among the most trusted names in Mercurey since the 1980s. The vineyard "En Pierrelet" is aptly named – the stony, calcareous soil here directly influences the character of the Chardonnay in the glass.

In the glass, the 2022 vintage displays a rich golden yellow. On the nose, it opens with aromas of mirabelle plum, nectarine, and a hint of fresh lime, underpinned by a subtle mineral note. On the palate, it is dense but not heavy – the acidity keeps the fruit in balance, and the finish shows a fine, almost saline length.
