Casabel Tinto Lisbon

Casabel Tinto Lisbon
Casabel Tinto from the Lisbon region shows what the Portuguese grape varieties of the Tagus hinterland can do: deep red fruit without losing elegance.
Companhia Agrícola do Sanguinhal cultivates its vineyards north of Lisbon, in the rolling hills between the Atlantic and continental climates. This interplay results in wines with a clear fruit structure and natural freshness.
In the glass, the Casabel Tinto reveals aromas of cherry and plum, with a hint of strawberry and subtle notes of tobacco and spice in the background. Medium-bodied, with moderate to firm tannins, it offers a good balance between fruit and spicy depth—not a heavy wine, but one with real backbone.
Serving suggestion: Best served at 16–18 °C. Pairs well with grilled lamb, grilled linguça, or a hearty tomato stew. Also an easy accompaniment to a cheese board with mature sheep's cheese.
