Black Stallion Limited Release Chardonnay

Black Stallion is part of Delicato Family Wines, one of California's major family wineries. The Black Stallion estate is located in Oakville, one of the most prestigious sub-regions of Napa Valley, known for its deep soils and long, warm autumns. The "Limited Release" label designates wines that go beyond the standard portfolio—typically featuring extended barrel aging and selective hand-harvesting.

In the glass, this Chardonnay displays classic Napa style: ripe yellow pear and white peach, underpinned by vanilla and a hint of roasted hazelnut from the barrel aging. Malolactic fermentation ensures a creamy, rounded texture; the acidity remains vibrant enough to keep the wine lively. The finish offers a light butterscotch note.

Serving temperature 10–12 °C. Pairs well with lobster bisque, chicken breast in tarragon cream sauce, grilled salmon, or a mature Brie. Also enjoyable as a standalone aperitif on a warm evening.
