Black Stallion Bucephalus

Black Stallion Bucephalus
A robust red wine from California that combines the sun-drenched style of Napa Valley with Burgundian elegance — for evenings when things should be calm and substantial.
Black Stallion is part of the portfolio of Delicato Family Wines, one of California's great family wineries with roots dating back to 1924. The Black Stallion winery itself is located in Oakville in Napa Valley—one of North America's most prestigious regions for Cabernet Sauvignon. The name Bucephalus refers to Alexander the Great's legendary horse and represents the winery's prestige line.
In the glass, it displays a deep ruby red color. Aromas of ripe blackberries, blackcurrant, and plum mingle with notes of vanilla, cedar, and a hint of mocha—typical of aging in American and French oak. The palate is full-bodied with soft, ripe tannins and a pleasantly long finish.
