Birgit Eichinger Grüner Veltliner Strass DAC

This Grüner Veltliner comes from the single vineyard site Hasel in the mid-hilly, south-facing hills. The deep loess soil reliably allows the classic Grüner Veltliner style of the Kamptal region to flourish. The nose initially offers a bouquet of spices, followed by very delicate linden blossoms; a refined, distinctive wine with a lovely, refreshingly rich acidity. Its fragrance is particularly characteristic, a very typical expression, and a very drinkable medium body. Excellent value for money. Available on the wine list of Tim Mälzer's restaurant "Die Bullerei".

Birgit Eichinger

Birgit Eichinger is one of the most influential voices in the Kamptal region – and for good reason. Her family winery in the heart of this exemplary Austrian wine region stands for a clear philosophy: as little as necessary, as consciously as possible.

What does that mean in the glass? Grüner Veltliner and Riesling from vineyards like Heiligenstein or Gaisberg that don't just explain their origin – they make it tangible. Precise, refined, with a depth that allows you to rediscover them time and again.
