Beringer Classic Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep purple-red color. On the nose, an opulent bouquet with juicy plum and ripe berry aromas against a backdrop of warm spices and cocoa with gently integrated oak notes, entirely without aggressive woodiness. Juicy, concentrated fruit also on the palate, full-bodied and rich with present yet smooth tannins and complex fruit flavors that accompany the long finish. The consistently mild temperatures from spring to autumn allowed the vines to bud early and ensured excellent grape ripeness, enabling the grapes to develop complex aromas with a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. Traditional vinification brought out the varietal plum and berry fruit. Aging in French and American oak gave the wine additional structure and rounded off the fruit aromas with a touch of mild spice.
