Argiano Rosso di Montalcino DOC

The hand-picked grapes are fermented on their skins in stainless steel tanks at the winery for two to three weeks to achieve maximum concentration. This is followed by a second fermentation – malolactic – which gives the wine its smoothness. Finally, the young wine is aged in French oak barriques and larger Slovenian oak casks. Argiano's aim is to make the most of the terroir's qualities to produce a great bottle from every vine. Argiano's Rosso di Montalcino captivates with a bouquet of red berries, violets, and menthol. On the palate, it is elegant and well-balanced with delicate aromas of red fruit. Round and inviting with soft tannins.
