Alexander Gysler Gysler Riesling Natur Rheinhessen

Alexander Gysler Gysler Riesling Natur Rheinhessen
A natural wine that shows what Rheinhessen Riesling can do without intervention: unfiltered, unfined, without added sulfur – and yet clearly structured.
Alexander Gysler manages his vineyard in Weinheim on the Bergstrasse with a consistent focus on minimal cellar intervention. The Riesling grapes grow on the loess soils of Rheinhessen and are vinified as naturally as possible – including spontaneous fermentation.
In the glass, it's golden yellow with a slight haze from being unfiltered. The nose offers herbs, a hint of hops, and ripe yellow fruit – apple and stone fruit. On the palate, it displays lively acidity, subtle tannins, and a salty, piquant-spicy finish. The texture is substantial, the style vibrant and unpretentious.
