6-bottle wooden case Tasting Box Roda Reserva+ RodaI Reserva 1x0.5l each Roda 2013,14,15 + RodaI 2011,12,13

Two Rioja styles from one house, six half-bottles in a wooden case: This tasting box places Roda Reserva (vintages 2013, 2014, 2015) and Roda I Reserva (vintages 2011, 2012, 2013) side by side. One 0.5l bottle per vintage, allowing differences between wine and year to be compared directly.

Bodegas Roda is located in Haro, in the heart of Rioja. Both wines are dry and based predominantly on Tempranillo; we do not have the exact proportions of other grape varieties. The house's signature remains recognizable: the fruit is the focus, wood serves as a structural element.

Roda Reserva shows more red fruit, fine spices, and polished tannins. Roda I usually appears darker, denser, and more mineral. Anyone who opens the bottles one after the other will taste how the focus shifts over time in the glass from fruit to spice.

Recommendation: Serve at 16 to 18 °C, first the Roda Reserva vintages, then Roda I. Lamb chops, grilled entrecôte, or aged Manchego go well with it. As a sample pack for a tasting evening or as a gift for Rioja fans.

The Bodega

Bodegas Roda

Bodegas RODA is no ordinary winery. In the late 1980s, the Rotllant Daurella family came to Rioja with the clear intention of creating something lasting. The result is one of the most exciting wineries in Spain.

High above Haro's railway station district, wines are produced that bring out the best in old Tempranillo vines: SELA as an approachable entry point, RODA for deep red fruit, RODA I for dark power and freshness – and CIRSION for truly great moments. A winery that knows its roots and yet always looks to the future.
