Médoc with history. The best parcels on the gravelly slopes of Grand Poujeaux fell to the family through inheritance – but only after the 1855 classification. In 1932, the estate was then elevated to Grand Cru Exceptionnel status, one of only five. The vineyards lie near Arcins, on fossilized limestone, with perfect drainage. Spring rains, dry summers – the classic Médoc grapes are accustomed to these extremes. The result: magnificent wines. In addition to the flagship wine, there are second wines and a white wine made from Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Chasse Spleen – a name with character.
