These grape varieties are cultivated on a total vineyard area of 17 hectares, with 60% dedicated to white wine grapes and 40% to red wine grapes. The Kirchner winery in Freinsheim is one of the oldest family-run wineries in the Palatinate: Vines have been cultivated here since 1790, and the vineyards have been passed down from generation to generation. Classic Palatinate varieties – Riesling, Pinot Noir, and St. Laurent – grow on 17 hectares of soil that clearly reflects the region's terroir.

In their vineyards, the family works consistently organically: reduced yields, intensive manual labor, and no use of chemical pesticides. The goal is not quantity, but healthy grapes – the foundation for wines that clearly reflect their origin. Sixty percent of the area is dedicated to white grape varieties, and 40 percent to red.

The range is divided into estate wines, village wines, and single-vineyard wines, identifiable by a color-coded label system.
