Garzon
Garzón in Uruguay is one of the world's most exciting wine regions: ancient granite soils , Atlantic sea breezes, and a cool microclimate lend the wines a distinctive freshness and elegant minerality. The leading grape varieties are the powerful, velvety, tannin-rich Tannat and the vibrant Albariño , which here achieves aromatic brilliance – a combination that clearly distinguishes Garzón from other South American wine regions.
At Vinoscout you will discover a fine selection of four wines from Garzón, which you can try from just 11.95 euros – the perfect introduction to a region that delights wine lovers worldwide.

Bodega Garzón – Uruguay's most famous winery
Bodega Garzón is located in the southeast of Uruguay, near the coast of the Río de la Plata, and is considered one of the country's most renowned wineries. The house has made a name for itself primarily with Tannat – Uruguay's leading red variety, which is powerful, dark, and structured here, with the potential to unfold wonderfully in the glass. If you are looking for a full-bodied red wine with character, Tannat is exactly the right choice.
It is exciting that Garzón also convinces with white varieties. The Albariño – originally known from Galicia – thrives surprisingly well in the Atlantic-influenced climate of Uruguay and appears fresh, aromatic, and lively. Sauvignon Blanc also brings this freshness that characterizes the region's terroir.
What awaits you at Vinoscout

For explorers of South American wines outside of Argentina and Chile, Garzón is a real recommendation.
