Bodega Garzón –
Uruguay's answer to world-class winemaking

Bodega Garzón is located in the Maldonado Department in southeastern Uruguay, not far from the Río de la Plata – a landscape of rolling hills, granite and schist soils, and an Atlantic-influenced climate that ensures slow ripening and pronounced aromatics. What Alejandro Bulgheroni and his wife Bettina have built here is no ordinary winery: it is a generational project that has redefined Uruguayan winemaking internationally.

The winery's philosophy follows the principle of authenticity. Under the guidance of renowned oenologist Alberto Antonini, wines are created that don't merely comment on the terroir, but rather reflect it directly – mineral, structured, with a depth rarely found so clearly in South America. Tannat, the country's classic grape variety, displays a velvety, European-style elegance; Albariño thrives on the granite soils with a freshness reminiscent of the Rías Baixas.

The winery is also LEED certified – sustainability is not a marketing promise, but an integral part of its business structure. Those who drink Bodega Garzón wines hold a piece of the Uruguayan landscape in their glass.
