Dönnhoff –
Nahe Rieslings with depth and origin

The Dönnhoff winery is one of the most influential names in the German wine scene – and has been for more than 250 years. The family cultivates their vineyards in the Nahe Valley around Oberhausen and Niederhausen with a dedication that is evident in their wines: clear fruit, lively acidity, and a long, lingering finish.

Helmut Dönnhoff shaped the winery over decades and brought it international renown. His Rieslings from vineyards like Hermannshöhle and Oberhäuser Brücke are considered benchmarks for what the Nahe region is capable of: a mineral precision that neither the Mosel nor the Rheingau exhibits to the same extent. The soils vary considerably within a small area – slate, porphyry, sandstone – and this is reflected in every vintage.

The range extends from approachable estate wines to grand crus that can age for decades. Those who drink Dönnhoff wines don't get loud wines – but rather wines that reveal more and more about themselves over time.
