Domaine Nicolas Gaudry lies in the heart of the Nièvre, where the Loire flows through gentle hills and Sauvignon Blanc finds perhaps its purest expression: Pouilly-Fumé .

Nicolas Gaudry and his wife Sandy have been running the winery since 2003 – as the sixth generation of a true winemaking family. On 31 hectares , spread across four villages around Tracy-sur-Loire, they produce wines that reflect the entire terroir of this special appellation.

The result: aromatically precise, vibrant white wines with character – from the classic Pouilly-Fumé to the rarer Pouilly-sur-Loire made from the Chasselas grape.

Nicolas Gaudry and his wife Sandy have been running the winery in the Nièvre since 2003 as the sixth generation of a winemaking family who know the terroir around Tracy-sur-Loire like few others. Sauvignon Blanc grapes grow on 31 hectares spread across four communes of the appellation, on soils of pebbles, limestone, and the typical flinty marl that gives Pouilly-Fumé its characteristic smokiness and mineral tension.

Gaudry's wines are not loud. They work with what the terroir provides: clear fruit, vibrant acidity, and a long, saline finish. From the classic Pouilly-Fumé to the rarer Pouilly-sur-Loire made from the Chasselas grape, each cuvée reflects a specific plot and its unique characteristics, not a uniform winemaking style.
