Domaine Nicolas Gaudry is located in the heart of the Nièvre, where the Loire flows through gentle hills and Sauvignon Blanc finds perhaps its purest form of expression: Pouilly-Fumé.
Nicolas Gaudry and his wife Sandy have been managing the winery since 2003 – as the sixth generation of a true winemaking family. On 30 hectares, spread over four municipalities around Tracy-sur-Loire, wines are created that reflect the entire terroir of this special appellation.
The result: aromatically precise, lively white wines with character – from the classic Pouilly-Fumé to the rarer Pouilly-sur-Loire made from the Chasselas grape.

Pouilly-Fumé: Six Generations of Winemaking Craftsmanship
Nicolas Gaudry and his wife Sandy have been running the winery in the Nièvre since 2003 as the sixth generation of a winemaking family that knows the terroir around Tracy-sur-Loire like few others. On 30 hectares spread across four municipalities of the appellation, Sauvignon Blanc grows on soils of pebbles, limestone, and the typical flint-marl that gives Pouilly-Fumé its characteristic smoke and mineral tension.
Gaudry's wines are not loud wines. They work with what the terroir provides: clear fruit, lively acidity, a long, salty finish. From the classic Pouilly-Fumé to the rarer Pouilly-sur-Loire made from the Chasselas grape – every cuvée reflects a specific parcel and its uniqueness, not a uniform cellar style.
