Wines have been produced here since the time of Louis XIV – a continuity that can be tasted in the bottles. As one of the few Crus Classés of the Côtes de Provence , the estate holds a status granted in 1955 that has hardly been extended since.

What sets Galoupet apart from many Provence rosés is its seriousness in the cellar. The wines are minerally pronounced, show structure, and have a long finish – not a light summer rosé, but a wine that also pairs well with an autumn evening of roasted fish or aged goat cheese.
