Zanasi Antica Natura Lambrusco Bio Dry

Lambrusco has long had a tough time – sweet, cheap, unserious. The Zanasi Antica Natura shows what the grape variety can achieve in the best locations of the DOP Castelvetro di Modena : hand-picked organic grapes, deep purple color, fine perlage.

On the nose, rosebuds, ripe cherries, and dark berries. On the palate, dry, well-balanced, with delicate tannins—not a sweet wine, but a serious red wine with bite. 93 points in the Falstaff Lambrusco ranking 2020.

Slightly chilled (14–16 °C) with mortadella, parmigiano reggiano or grilled sausages from Emilia — classic combinations that work.

Zanasi

Emilian craftsmanship since 1883. The family, now in its fourth generation, runs the winery near Modena. Their philosophy: a deep connection to their homeland, respect for the land, and traditional craftsmanship. Lambrusco is at the heart of it all – from the hills of Castelvetro to the plains, in a variety of styles. Sustainable viticulture and minimal intervention in the cellar preserve the original character. And, of course, Aceto Balsamico di Modena, aged according to time-honored methods. Zanasi – this is Emilia-Romagna as it tastes: honest, authentic, and full of flavor.
