Warwick Cape Lady Pinotage Rose

The Warwick Cape Lady Pinotage Rosé from the South African winery Warwick Estate is a rosé that combines lightness and character in one glass – made for those who do not want to compromise on wine, but still appreciate freshness and approachability.

On the nose, it displays inviting aromas of peach, strawberry, and red cherry , instantly lifting the spirits. On the palate, a lively, juicy texture unfolds: citrus fruits and preserved strawberries lend the wine depth, while subtle spice notes add complexity. The acidity is present, crisp, and well-integrated – keeping the wine fresh and making each sip a delight.

This rosé, made from the Pinotage grape, South Africa's own iconic grape variety, is the perfect accompaniment to light summer dishes , antipasti, grilled fish, or simply a relaxing evening on the terrace. It pairs wonderfully with goat cheese, salmon, or a good charcuterie board – and is also a delightful and uncomplicated aperitif.

Warwick Estate

Where the First Lady of Cape Winemaking Made History: Warwick Estate is a winery located in Stellenbosch, South Africa. Warwick was founded around 1771 as a fruit farm. In 1964, Stan and Norma Ratcliff took over the farm and transformed it into a winery, primarily cultivating the typical Bordeaux grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Norma Ratcliff thus became the first female winemaker in the Cape of South Africa and, as such, quite famous. The "First Lady" range from Warwick Estate is a tribute to Norma Ratcliff.
