Trenza Family Collection

A red wine from southern Spain that shows what Murcia can achieve with fully ripe Monastrell grapes: dark fruit, warmth and a body that can stand on its own even without food.

Bodegas Trenza is located in the Región de Murcia, where intense sunshine and poor soils naturally concentrate the grapes. The Family Collection is the heart of the winery – a cuvée that encapsulates the typical strengths of the region in an approachable, everyday bottle.

In the glass, the wine shines a deep purple. The nose is dominated by blackberry and black cherry, with hints of ripe plum and a subtle touch of licorice. On the palate, the Monastrell component (80%) brings the typical velvety mouthfeel of the grape variety, the Garnacha Tintorera contributes color and structure, and the Cabernet Sauvignon provides a clean, slightly cooler finish with light tannins.
