Bodegas Trenza

Bodegas Trenza is located in the southeast of Spain, in the Tierra de Murcia — a region that works with extreme temperature fluctuations between day and night, barren soils, and intense sunlight. These are exactly the conditions that shape the wines: dense, aromatic, with a warmth that you feel in the glass, but which never seems clumsy.

The focus is on the Monastrell grape, which has been rooted in Murcia for centuries and delivers particularly concentrated fruit on old, deep-rooted vines. Bodegas Trenza relies on aging that puts the fruit in the foreground — dark berries, a hint of lavender, earthy depth — without hiding it behind excessive use of wood.

The wines are suitable for hearty meat dishes, grilled lamb, or mature Manchego — and are also drinkable on their own when the evening calls for it.
