Trapiche Oak Cask Malbec
Argentine wines – at the highest level. Daniel Pi, born in Mendoza, is a leading figure in Argentine winemaking and has been Chief Winemaker at Trapiche since 2002. Since taking the helm, he has implemented numerous changes, imbuing the wines with his personal style. He consistently adheres to the principle of "richness through diversity." He is convinced that there isn't just one specific location or altitude where each grape variety achieves its most exceptional expression, but rather many. The key lies in knowing which areas yield the best grapes for each wine. To live up to his credo, Daniel Pi places great emphasis on close collaboration with the winegrowers. The Trapiche Oak Casc Malbec is a deep red with violet reflections. It combines fruity aromas of blackberries and plums with elegantly integrated vanilla and smoky notes, resulting in a velvety texture with a long finish.
