Trapiche Cabernet Sauvignon

A classic Cabernet Sauvignon from Trapiche – for anyone who wants to get to know Argentinian red wine without detours.

Trapiche is one of Argentina's most renowned wineries and has been rooted in Mendoza since 1883. The winery lies in the shadow of the Andes, where the combination of altitude, intense sunshine, and cool nights creates ideal conditions for fully ripe, structured red wines. The Varietals line is based on the principle of bringing the character of the grape variety to the glass clearly and authentically.

In the glass, it displays a deep ruby red color. The nose offers blackcurrant, blackberry, and a hint of green bell pepper – typical of Cabernet Sauvignon. These are complemented by subtle notes of cedar and dried herbs. On the palate, it is soft, with a medium body and rounded tannins that make the wine approachable. The finish is pleasantly long and spicy.

Serving temperature: 16–18 °C. Pairs well with grilled beef, lamb skewers, or spicy tomato sauce. Also a simple and enjoyable drink on its own for the evening.
