Trapiche Merlot

Trapiche Merlot
An approachable Merlot from Argentina's most famous winery — uncomplicated, fruity and made for everyday use.
Trapiche is one of Argentina's oldest wineries: founded in Mendoza in 1883, it is now one of the country's best-selling brands. The grapes for this cuvée come from vineyards at the foot of the Andes, where the continental climate—hot days, cool nights—ensures aromatic ripeness combined with a fresh structure.
Deep dark red in the glass. On the nose, ripe blackberry and plum, with a hint of cocoa in the background. Soft and round on the palate, with velvety tannins and an uncomplicated, fruity finish without any harsh edges.
Serving temperature 16–18 °C . Drink now — not a wine for aging. Pairs well with pasta with meat sauce, grilled burgers, or a simple lentil stew.
