Tianna Bocchoris Blanc DO
Tianna Bocchoris Blanc presents itself in a golden-yellow color with greenish reflections. The aromas of white fruits, peach, and exotic fruits (papaya) with a hint of toasted bread are brought about by aging in oak barrels. Fresh on the palate, with hints of ripe white fruits, a mineral passage, and good body on the finish. After destemming, a short pre-fermentation maceration of the skins is carried out at low temperature. Following gentle pressing with low yield, the must is transferred to isothermal tanks, where static racking takes place at a controlled temperature. Once the clean must is obtained, alcoholic fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures between 13º and 15ºC. Midway through fermentation, the must wines from Sauvignon Blanc and Giró Ros are transferred to new French oak barrels until the end of fermentation. The Sauvignon Blanc and the Giró Ros mature for 8 weeks in new French oak barrels.

Celler Tianna Negre – a project of the Morey-Garau family and Bodegas Túnel. What began in a garage became their own winery in 2007. Equipped with the latest technology to treat the grapes with care and respect the environment, the family comes from Consell, a town with a long winemaking tradition. Their first vineyard is over 35 years old. Today, the winery owns 35 hectares in the Raiguer region. The soil: Call Vermell – an iron-rich, clayey, red limestone, perfect for a Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters.
