Terrazas de los Andes Grand Malbec

Three high-altitude vineyards in Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley, some over 1,000 meters above sea level — this is the foundation for this concentrated Malbec with real depth.

Bodegas Terrazas de los Andes is one of the pioneers of high-altitude vinification in Mendoza. The idea behind it: greater temperature fluctuations between day and night slow down ripening, create more aromatic depth, and preserve acidity — both clearly visible in the glass.

On the nose, the wine opens with black cherry, raspberry, and ripe plum, beneath a layer of violets and fresh herbs that come from the Los Chacayes parcels. On the palate, the density continues: the tannins are highly concentrated but integrated — creamy texture instead of dryness. The finish is long, with a balanced acidity that keeps the wine lively.

Bodegas Terrazas

Terrazas de los Andes – wine from the high altitudes of the Argentinian Andes. At elevations between 900 and over 1,400 meters, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes thrive under intense sunshine, cooled by cold mountain winds. The idea: the higher the vineyard, the cooler the climate – the more vibrant the wine. Fresh fruit, fine structure, true depth. What makes Terrazas special? The respect for the altitude. Each vineyard brings its own unique character. The result: wines that showcase Argentina – powerful, warming, surprisingly fresh.
