Terra Noble Chardonnay Estate

Terra Noble Chardonnay Estate
A Chardonnay that doesn't rely on wood, but on fruit and balance – with just enough barrel influence to give it depth without seeming heavy.
Terra Noble is a Chilean winery located in the Loncomilla River valley, south of Talca in the Maule Valley. The climate there is cooler than is typical in the central valley – resulting in a longer growing season, slower ripening, and greater aromatic complexity. The estate label signifies grapes from their own vineyards and controlled yields.
In the glass, this Chardonnay displays aromas of ripe pineapple, yellow apple, and a hint of vanilla – the result of a brief period of barrel aging that supports but doesn't overpower the other flavors. On the palate, it offers a mild butteriness, soft acidity, and a medium body. The finish lingers longer than one would expect at this price point.
Serving suggestion: Best served between 10 and 12 °C. Pairs well with chicken breast with lemon sauce, creamy pasta dishes, or mild goat cheese. Also a reliable choice as an uncomplicated evening wine without any complicated cooking.
