Solos Weiss Alto Adige DOC 0.75L

A fresh, dry white wine from the heart of South Tyrol — the Solos Weiss from Kellerei Kaltern shows what Chardonnay can do at an altitude of over 200 meters in the Alps: clear fruit, lively acidity, and a pleasant lightness.

Kellerei Kaltern is one of the most traditional cooperatives in Alto Adige and manages its vineyards around Lake Kaltern with organic certification. The Mediterranean climate, moderated by alpine winds, gives the grapes their characteristic freshness while maintaining ripe aromatics.

In the glass, the wine glows straw-yellow with golden reflections. The nose reveals ripe apples and light stone fruits, accompanied by a delicate floral scent. On the palate, it is lively and fresh, with a clean acid structure and a pleasantly dry, straightforward finish.

Well-chilled to 10–12 °C, it pairs well with grilled sea bass, zucchini risotto, or light pasta dishes with lemon butter. It also makes a great uncomplicated companion for summer dishes on the terrace.
