Soll Pinot Grigio Alto Adige DOC 0.75L

A Pinot Grigio that shows what South Tyrol can get out of this grape variety: clearly structured, aromatically precise, and with the freshness that the alpine climate provides.

The Kellerei Kaltern is one of the most traditional cooperatives in South Tyrol — founded in 1900 on Lake Kaltern, today with around 600 member farms and vineyards between 220 and 900 meters in altitude. This altitude is crucial: cool nights, plenty of sun during the day, well-ventilated soils — ideal conditions for aromatically dense white wines with lively acidity.

In the glass, the Soll shows a light straw yellow. The nose brings ripe pear and honeydew melon, plus a hint of nut, which gives the wine some substance. On the palate, dry and round, with a clean fresh acidity that enlivens the finish.

Chilled to 10–12 °C, it pairs well with asparagus with hollandaise sauce, grilled char, or a light risotto with lemon and herbs. It also makes a good figure as an uncomplicated aperitif on the terrace.
