Simposio Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva DOCG

Simposio is a wine with a classic, traditional, and elegant style. On the nose, it is complex and subtle, with spicy notes and pleasant nuances of candied fruit and coffee. A rather dry wine with pronounced tannins and mineral notes, it finishes with a creamy and slightly sweet aftertaste. It is aged for 12 months in barriques and for 6 months in 50-hectoliter casks, followed by 19 months of bottle aging. Falstaff awarded it 92 points for the 2015 vintage, and Gambero Rosso awarded it 3 glasses for the 2015 vintage.

Tenuta Tre Rose

Trerose is a tribute to the wines of Montepulciano. The winery, housed in a picturesque 16th-century villa, is perfectly positioned in Montepulciano, surrounded by vineyards. At Tenuta Trerose, they believe in the Prugnolo Genitle biotype of Sangiovese, which is also the key to their winemaking philosophy. Winemaker Pietro Riccobono is convinced that Trerose's red wines best represent the incomparable terroir of the Montepulciano region.
