Santa Caterina Vino Nobile di Montepulciano

A classic Vino Nobile that clearly showcases the strengths of the Sangiovese sub-varietal Prugnolo Gentile: ripe fruit, spice and a long, structured finish.

Tenuta Tre Rose is located near Montepulciano in the southern Tuscan hills. The winery is one of the most trusted names in the Denomination of Origin – 94 points from Robert M. Parker and first place in the 2020 Falstaff Trophy at the Santa Caterina are testament to this. The wine is traditionally aged in oak barrels before bottling.

Deep ruby red in the glass. The nose offers aromas of blackberry and sour cherry alongside notes of bay leaf, tobacco, and a hint of smoke. On the palate, it is juicy and full-bodied, with fine, well-integrated tannins and a salty finish that adds length.

Tenuta Tre Rose

Trerose is a tribute to the wines of Montepulciano. The winery, housed in a picturesque 16th-century villa, is perfectly positioned in Montepulciano, surrounded by vineyards. At Tenuta Trerose, they believe in the Prugnolo Genitle biotype of Sangiovese, which is also the key to their winemaking philosophy. Winemaker Pietro Riccobono is convinced that Trerose's red wines best represent the incomparable terroir of the Montepulciano region.
