Sileno Cannonau di Sardegna Riserva

Sardinia's most famous red wine grape variety, Cannonau – genetically identical to Grenache – shows its stronger, Mediterranean side here: dark fruity, warm, with substance on the palate.

Ferruccio Deiana has been cultivating this indigenous grape variety in the hinterland of the province of Cagliari for decades. The winery is one of the most reliable producers of Sardinian wine with international aspirations – a fact confirmed by ratings from Decanter (92 points) and Veronelli (93 points) .

The Sileno matures for 10 months in oak barrels . In the glass, it displays blackberry, dark cherry, and dried fig, underpinned by roasted aromas, cinnamon, and a hint of licorice. The palate is full-bodied, the tannins well-integrated through aging, and the finish warm and lingering with a spicy herbal note.

Ferruccio Deiana

Ferruccio Deiana embodies Sardinia's vinous soul – rugged, proud, and full of character. On the sun-kissed island, the Deiana family primarily cultivates indigenous grape varieties such as Cannonau and Vermentino , which are deeply rooted in the Sardinian soil and shine nowhere else quite like they do here.

Behind every wine lies a clear commitment: no pretense, no polishing – just honest fruit, Mediterranean warmth, and the unmistakable character of an island that knows its own rhythm. If you want to experience Sardinia in a glass, you've come to the right place.
