Serena 0.0%

The Serena 0.0% from Miguel Torres Chile is a Sauvignon Blanc from the Central Valley that has been gently and completely dealcoholized — this preserves the varietal-typical aroma profile while the wine manages with 0.0% vol.

Miguel Torres Chile, part of the Catalan family business Torres, is one of the pioneers of sustainable viticulture in South America. For the Serena, Sauvignon Blanc grapes from the Central Valley are gently pressed and fermented cool. The subsequent alcohol removal takes place in a gentle low-pressure process that largely protects volatile aromas.

In the glass, the classic Sauvignon profile appears: boxwood, tomato leaf, and a hint of green bell pepper, plus a lively acidity structure that refreshes the palate. The finish is short but clean and characterized by a pleasant freshness. Semi-Dry residual sweetness rounds off the mouthfeel.

Well-chilled at 8–10 °C, it works just as well as a companion to goat cheese salads, light vegetable curry, or ceviche as it does on its own as a refreshing alternative to water or juice — also as a base for a fruity mocktail.
