Sauvignon Blanc Steinmühle QW Burgenland 0.75L

Sauvignon Blanc Steinmühle QW Burgenland 0.75L
The Sauvignon Blanc Steinmühle from Kollwentz is one of the most independent white wines of Burgenland — not a pleasing mainstream Sauvignon, but a wine with a clear profile of origin.
The Kollwentz-Römerhof winery in Großhöflein has been one of the reference addresses in Burgenland for decades. The Steinmühle site stands on barren flint soils, which give the wine an unmistakable minerality. Especially: the vines are propagated from own, selected stocks — no purchased clone material, but grown identity over generations.
In the nose, the wine shows the typical Steinmühle spectrum from passion fruit to fresh herbs to a fine flint tone, which makes the soil origin palpable. Dry on the palate, with a lively acidity structure and a long, spicy finish.
Serving temperature 10–12 °C. Pairs well with grilled char, goat cheese, or a summery asparagus salad with vinaigrette.
