Rock Rose Gin Autumn Season Edition 0.7L

The Rock Rose Autumn Season Edition is a Scottish craft gin that brings autumn on the north coast of Scotland into the bottle: berry-like, spicy, with a clear botanical signature.

The Dunnet Bay Distillery in the bay of Caithness is considered the northernmost distillery in Scotland. Claire and Martin Murray distill here with a regional claim — botanicals from the landscape, water from the surroundings. The heart of the Rock Rose is the rhodiola rosea, which grows on the cliffs of the coast and gives the gin its delicate rose aroma. In the Autumn Edition, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries are added, as well as late-harvested nasturtium and Vietnamese coriander.

In the glass, dark berry fruit and a spicy-peppery interplay of coriander and nasturtium dominate. The juniper recedes but remains perceptible as a structuring element. The finish is fresh with a slightly tart note.

Neat over ice or with a neutral tonic water that does not mask the fruit. If you want to emphasize the berry notes, garnish with fresh blackberries. Drinking temperature: 8–10 °C.
