Iron Maiden Caribbean Dark Rum 40%

A rum for those who want to not only listen to heavy metal, but also drink it. Iron Maiden Caribbean Dark Rum was created in collaboration with the band and is inspired by "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" – the epic track from the 1984 album Powerslave .

In the glass, a blend of rums from Jamaica and Barbados , aged in wooden barrels using the Petites Eaux method : the rum is diluted with small amounts of water to drinking strength without adding harshness. The result: 40% ABV, smooth body, aromas of dark fruit, vanilla, and a hint of wood spice, long finish.

Neat at room temperature as a digestif, or on ice late at night. For those who prefer mixing, an Old Fashioned or Dark & Stormy is a good choice.

How does the Iron Maiden Caribbean Dark Rum taste?

Soft, round body with aromas of dark fruit and vanilla, plus a subtle oak spice and a long finish. Thanks to the Petites Eaux method – dilution with small amounts of water instead of chill filtration – it feels pleasantly mild at 40% ABV without being flat.

Do you drink it neat or mix with it?

Both work. Neat at room temperature as a digestif is the first choice to feel the fruit and vanilla notes. On ice or as a base for an Old Fashioned or Dark & Stormy, it also makes a good impression.

At what temperature is the rum served?

Room temperature – i.e., 18–20 °C – is ideal if you drink it neat. On ice, it cools itself down to drinking temperature; then the sweeter notes unfold a bit more slowly.
