Ried Bärenburg Pinot Blanc 1. STK Ried DAC Styria 0.75L

Ried Bärenburg Pinot Blanc 1. STK Ried DAC Styria 0.75L
The Weißburgunder from the Ried Bärenburg vineyard shows what the Southern Styria region, with its cool nights and mineral soils, can extract from this grape variety: a precise, straightforward wine with a genuine terroir profile.
The Gross winery from Ratsch an der Weinstraße is one of the defining names in the Styrian wine scene. For generations, the family has been developing its single vineyards — the classification as Erste STK Ried stands for vineyard quality that is above the regional average and is clearly defined in the Styria DAC system.
In the glass, the Bärenburg-Weißburgunder shows dried lemon, roasted almond, and ripe pear, underpinned by a fine, almost salty minerality. The palate is taut, the acidity clearly structured without sharpness, and the finish is dry and persistent.
Serving temperature 10–12 °C. Pairs well with pan-fried zander with caper butter, Wiener Schnitzel, or mild mountain cheese from the Alpbachtal valley.
