Reserve Port

Johnny Graham founded Churchill's in 1981 together with his brothers—named after his wife, and shaped by decades of experience at Cockburn's and Taylor's. From their own vineyards in Cima Corgo, the A-site vineyards of the upper Douro, they source exclusively hand-picked Touriga Nacional grapes. The grapes are traditionally macerated in lagares, large stone basins where they are foot-trodden—a method that brings color, structure, and depth to the glass like few others.

On the nose, dark blackberry, plum, and black cherry, underpinned by cocoa and a hint of cinnamon. Powerful on the palate, yet with fine tannins and a freshness that gives the wine vibrancy. The finish is long and complex. Serving temperature: 16–18 °C.

To round off an evening, enjoy it with a mature Stilton, dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher), or a plate of walnuts and dried fruit. If you like, you can also serve it with strong goat cheese or a chocolate dessert.
