Vintage Datterini Pomodori

Date tomatoes are among the most aromatic varieties: smaller than a plum, with concentrated sweetness and low acidity. These Pomodori datterini are preserved in their own tomato juice – without any additives that would mask their natural flavor.

A bright red in the glass, with a soft texture and pronounced fruit sweetness. Ideal for quick sauces where the tomato should take center stage: with shrimp and fresh basil, with zucchini and ricotta, or as a base for a light mussel sauce. Serving temperature: 10–12 °C – a dry Vermentino or Falanghina pairs well with the sweet, fruity notes.
