Polenta with truffle

Polenta al tartufo from Viani & Co. combines golden yellow cornmeal with dried summer truffle, porcini mushrooms, and herbs — a Northern Italian gourmet blend that is ready on the stove in ten minutes.

Viani & Co. stands for carefully curated specialties from Italy. The selection of ingredients shows this: truffle and porcini mushrooms provide a deep, earthy aroma profile, while the herbs provide a spicy counterpoint.

A strong mushroom scent with an earthy truffle tone unfolds in the pot. The consistency becomes creamy and binds well — a piece of cold butter at the end rounds off the texture. For those who like it richer, melt in pieces of Taleggio.
